Step into this incredible journey of Cornwall’s famous mining history. St Just is the beginning of this adventure into mining history and also into the two valleys north and south of the town. The Cot valley and Kenidjack valley are truly beautiful locations that feature unique flora and a wealth of Cornish character.
Our trip will offer stunning walking and swimming opportunities that rival any other.
Overview
We’ll begin our walk from the main car park in St Just. This circular walk will lead us through two beautiful valleys where we’ll find swimming spots and vistas to treasure.
We’ll also look at Cornwall’s famous mining history. This UNESCO world heritage site is an amazing insight into the men that risked it all for tin, a pasty for their lunch and you’ll learn where the famous phrase ‘Oggy Oggy Oggy’ comes from.
